Our client, Milltek Sport, is future-proofing the heart of the UK modified car scene by ensuring its performance stainless steel exhaust systems for popular fast Fords are fully ECE-compliant. Amid tightening emissions legislation and a clampdown by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) on modifications, Milltek Sport is ensuring every new Ford Motor Company system is developed with ECE approval in mind. In fact, Milltek Sport's is the only system currently available for the Mk3 #Focus #RS that conforms to the stringent ECE requirements - every alternative performance system available in the UK for the model is not road legal. Historic Anglo-Franco rivalries will be celebrated at St Pancras International this summer, as Renault recreates a small section of a Parisian cobbled street on the main concourse of the famous London station. Parked at the curb will be a new Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric, adorned with a Union Jack on its roof. “It’s not easy to be a British icon, if you’re French,” it’ll remind passers-by, as they are invited to explore the new Renault 5’s contemporary design and innovative technology. By maximizing every inch of your luggage, you can fit more items into smaller spaces without leaving gaps. Pack light: The Tetris matrix has limited space and overloading it can lead to game over. Similarly, avoid packing unnecessary items like heavy jackets. Focus on bringing just the essentials and summer necessities like shorts and sandals to keep your luggage light and manageable.

Drivers should take essential medication with them even on short journeys to avoid a breakdown becoming an emergency, warns leading provider Start Rescue. “We have seen a rise in vehicle breakdown cases involving drivers and passengers who urgently need to take their daily medication and are travelling without it,” says Lee Puffett, Managing Director of Start Rescue. “It’s concerning how many find themselves away from home without their medication and don’t expect their return journey to be hindered by the vehicle breaking down.” A quarter of adults in the UK regularly use prescription medication, leading to a serious risk of drivers being stranded without vital medication if their vehicle breaks down. Lee Puffett adds: “No matter how far you are going, keep a small supply of in-date medication in a safe place in the vehicle where children cannot gain access, such as a locked glovebox. Take a copy of your prescription, too, if you are going further afield in case you need extra, especially with the summer holiday getaway approaching.”

It was great to support our client Daimler Truck UK last week as they took part in this year’s GREENFLEET EV Rally with the fully-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600. Over the course of five days, the team clocked up an incredible 1,400 miles, starting out from Oldbury and finishing in Chester, with 26 checkpoints in between.
