Welcoming Havering’s New Social Work Students and Honouring Our ASYE Graduates Tara Geere, Havering’s Director of Children's Services, is thrilled to welcome the next generation of social workers who have arrived in Havering. September often sees the beautiful doorstep photos at the start of the academic year, and it is no different here as we welcome our new social work students through our partnership with @Frontline. As they begin their studies, it is a time to reflect that they are entering a profession that makes a positive difference in the lives of children, young people and families every day. We know that the passion, dedication, and commitment of our social care staff is key to supporting our communities. So, to the class of 2024 we say a warm welcome to the profession. At the same time, it gives Tara said it gave her great pleasure to say huge congratulations to the latest group of ASYE graduates on successfully completing their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme. Their hard work, perseverance, and hunger for knowledge has shone, and they are now ready to continue making a positive impact as qualified social workers. We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved. Here’s to everyone — the learners, the graduates, and everyone supporting you on this exciting journey. Together, we are building stronger, more resilient communities. #SocialWorkJourney #ASYEGraduates #NewBeginnings #FutureOfSocialCare #HaveringSocialWork #SocialWorkProfession #ChooseHavering #ChildrensSocialWork Students- (Photo on the right) Augusta Adu, Flora Dele-ojo, Joely Morris, Nabila Syed, Olley Owens, Benie Nyemba, Hannah Janes, Faye O Sullivan, Fayokemi Abidekun and Jessica Doumit ASYE Graduates- (Photo on the left) Sacha Deterville, Abigail Maborukoje, Kirsty Oppong, Sheneka Palache, Eloise Broyd and Sophie Mwandha
