WE GO BIG. WE NEVER GO HOME. WE ARE LKYSUNZ

About us

LKYSUNZ formally entered the race to be awarded a new Formula 1 team in May 2023. The team submitted its application into the FIA aiming for the 2026 season to be its first competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. LKYSUNZ will bring a fresh new energy to Formula 1 fusing popular youth culture with the pinnacle of world motorsport. From music, to fashion, to street art to the creator economy LKYSUNZ exists to win on the track and win off it by entertainment, getting new and existing audiences pumped and accelerating the inclusion of underrepresented communities from around the world. The team will be operational outside of Europe, with its base in South East Asia along with infrastructure across Africa. LKYSUNZ believes that everyone is born with genius levels of talent but not everyone is afforded the same opportunities. Consequently situating the team outside of traditional routes to Formula 1 is central to the teams ambition of shining a light on the diversity of talent, culture and thought. We are coming with a youthful vibe that will rev-up the biggest continents in the world, entertain audiences in the East all the way to the West showing them that nothing is impossible. Real people, from every background, can do real things, they just need the opportunity. WE GO BIG. WE NEVER GO HOME. WE ARE LKYSUNZ.

Ambalika Chaudhry - "A sport can only grow as much as its fan let it." No fan is better than the other. We all come with our unique experiences. Someone has the most merchandise. Someone has the most professional connections. Someone has the most knowledge. Someone has childhood memories attached to the sport. I think there's beauty when you bring all these people together because you get the best of everything. Before you go judging a sport, closely look at its fan community. I wouldn't have found motorsports if I hadn't debated with my friend who said, "I don't know if you should watch it, maybe you won't like it." 5 months later, I became a way more religious watcher than him. Joining a new sport as a fan should be seen as an assessment test. It should be an interest, a hobby. Nothing belongs to anyone. Formula 1 is a European sport. By this logic, nobody outside the European region would've ever known about it. I don't remember all the races, tracks, drivers and podium wins but I can tell you a hundred new perspectives that everyone kept to themselves. Fresh eyes are NEVER bad. My decision to buy a Formula 1 Exhibition ticket (against my wallet's decision lol) was driven by my interest. Not as a proof to compete with anyone. It's extra challenging for women to show interest in a male dominated sport because our motivation is not taken seriously. Who really gets to decide the parameters of becoming a fan if the sports fanbase is growing? Everyone should get to decide where their interest takes them. People can only contribute if they're allowed to participate in the first place. Being inclusive, diverse and non-judgmental is a wonderful way to keep breathing life into a legacy. #racing #motorsports #f1 #fanbase #perspective #gatekeep #community #inclusive #representation #newbie #growth

Ambalika Chaudhry - "The sound of a Formula 1 car is around 130 decibels. That's louder than a rock concert." It's been very exciting, fun and nerve-wracking to navigate motorsports (especially Formula 1) as an international south Asian student and a woman with zero background in sports! 2024 has been BLOODY INSANE. After hyperfocusing on this sport for 4 months, I decided to invest my time in understanding the economics, geography, history, and diversity in this field. Numbers really got me going. I don't really know what I'm doing half the time but I guess it's the same for ALL newbies! With no solid connections and foothold, I rely fully on my instincts, observations and data to make calculated moves while enjoying the process. The more I dug into motorsports, the more I learned about engineering, automobiles, aerodynamics and science. As an arts student, this has been a MIND-BLOWING experience! I had nobody to guide me through this process. I watched all the races without fail (regardless of time zones), the interviews, consumed social media content like oxygen, read everything possible, and networked. HARD. I changed my Instagram algorithm from all the crap in the world to dark humour and motorsports. In 2 months. Pushing limits. My ADHD was my best friend because I was LITERALLY everywhere. I create content, analyze and cheer. I had my eye on the prize - marketing in Formula 1. I don't have a fancy degree and work experiences from fancy institutions. But my sharp mind and curated spreadsheets compensated heavily for it. Yes, my ADHD info dumping is very evident lol. Ask me about the drivers, teams, owners, fanbase, F1 politics and controversies, everything really.... I'll give you the tea! The human version of a Reddit black hole hahaha. If you think I am trying too hard, honestly, this is just how passionate I am! I don't have the money or time to go watch a race but I play my strengths and HERE I AM. 5 months ago, I was nobody on LinkedIn. Today, I am getting to talk. HERE. For me, this is a WIN. #formula1 #motorsports #racing #sportsfan #journey #newbie #passion #hustle #adhd #immigrant #internationalstudent

.@k2um1979 - As we went to LIU-4 in the last thread we will take a look on one of the sensors that operate under LIU-4 interface unit. One of parameters that measured by LIU-4 sensors is the damping done by suspension. The sensor that measure the damping called Linear Variable Differential Transformer(LVDT). LVDT commonly used to measure the movement of suspension. The work principle of LVDT: The LVDTs measure linear position or displacement by using an inductive method. They consist of a primary coil and two secondary coils, which are arranged in a differential configuration. A movable core inside the LVDT alters the inductance of the secondary coils as it moves, and this change is translated into a corresponding electrical signal that represents the displacement. This electrical signal is then sent to LIU-4, then the data will be displays it by ECU. 📸 https://buff.ly/3APyosk 📸 https://buff.ly/4cIixcD

@k2um1979(X account) -Last thread we have mentioned the ECU, today we will highlight on another electrical unit which provide the ECU with important data. The LIU-4 interface unit has its own sensors and computer to send the data directly to ECU. LIU-4 has two main functions, measures and signal conditioning. LIU-4 measure engine parameters, tire and breaks temp, speed , fluids pressure and Suspension damping Measurement. After the LIU-4 receives raw data from various sensors located throughout the Formula 1 car, it converts and modifies the signals to make them acceptable by the ECU and presents the data in a proper and understandable format for the F1 teams. 📸 https://buff.ly/3YYB9Sv

.@k2um1979 - F1 cars are more than just powerful engines and sleek designs—they are complex machines with sophisticated technology. Let’s take a closer look at the "brain" of an F1 car: the Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is a valuable component that helps the engineers and drivers to analysis the performance of the car accurately. why ECU is important in F1 car ? The F1 car has around 250-300 sensors and generate 100 kilobytes to 0.5 megabytes per second. Sensors convert physical phenomena into electrical signals, which are then sent to the ECU. The ECU processes this data in real-time and sends it to the ATLAS system. The data is then accessed via the ATLAS RDS and visualized using ATLAS Client. ECU not only transferring the data, The ECU controls various electrical systems in the car, such as engine management, braking systems, and gearbox operations. The ECU ensures these systems operate efficiently and adjust parameters to optimize performance based on real-time data. 📸 Emmanuele Ciancaglini/Ciancaphoto Studio/Getty Images 📷 https://buff.ly/46WlFQR

👏🏽SWITCHIN' IT UP KUDOS👏🏾 HUGE THANKS to #4 TATUM aka Tatum Mandy 🇬🇧 for giving up their time to SWITCH IT UP! NEXT UP: Abdulrahman Al-Essa 🇸🇦 - a control engineering student, science and engineering enthusiasts. I am the type of person who loveS to try new things which for now is designing a satellite (CubeSat) to go deep into motorsport.
