Our Q3 earnings report is out. 📈 Adjusted operating profit of $2.5 billion was up 7% versus prior year led by higher price and continued productivity initiatives across all segments. Adjusted operating profit margin of 29.6% was 130 basis points above prior year. For the quarter, adjusted earnings per share was $3.94, 9% above prior year. Linde has started up the supply of industrial gases to PT Freeport Indonesia (Freeport Indonesia), a leading mining company in Indonesia. Linde has invested $120 million to build, own and operate a new on-site air separation unit (ASU), the largest in Indonesia and Linde’s largest in southeast Asia. This new plant is now supplying oxygen and nitrogen to PT Freeport Indonesia’s new copper smelter and refining facility in Manyar, one of the largest copper processing sites in the world. The ASU will also supply liquefied industrial gases to new and existing bulk customers in East Java, increasing Linde's network density. #Copper #LindeIsEverywhere

Linde has signed agreements to de-captivate two air separation units (ASUs) and expand supply of industrial gases to Tata Steel Limited in Odisha, India. The acquisition of the two large ASUs will more than double Linde's on-site capacity. Linde also signed a long-term agreement with Tata Steel for the supply of oxygen, nitrogen and argon to support the customer's major capacity expansion project. In addition to supplying Tata Steel, the new ASUs will meet demand for industrial gases from the local merchant market. Linde has signed agreements for the supply of renewable energy to the plant, reducing Scope 2 emissions in line with Linde's 2035 absolute GHG emissions reduction target. #LindeIsEverywhere #Steel
