"[T]hat's why I found the perinatal stage so important. It's almost like we're helping the parents and we're helping the future generations.” Have you listened to the latest episode of Top of Mind? 👶 We sat down with Helena Veses Ferrer to discuss her innovative new perinatal program for fathers and the crucial role of Talking Therapies during this time. 💞 Helena, a BABCP-accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in the NHS, brings a trauma-informed approach to her work. She is particularly passionate about supporting those who have faced traumatic life events and emotional challenges related to pregnancy and post-birth. Tune in to the full conversation with Helena on Top of Mind in your podcast player, and check out her upcoming course for fathers at the link below. 👇

Today, I met a cat called Larry 🐈 Honoured to have been invited to 10 Downing Street today to discuss the future of #AI in the UK. Sometimes I have to stop and appreciate the journey. Limbic has achieved something truly groundbreaking as the only mental health chatbot in the world to secure Class 2 medical device certification. Our deep clinical evidence base is setting new standards, and I’m proud to represent our progress at the highest levels. The conversation was under Chatham House rules, so below are my personal views: 🇬🇧 The UK is the perfect place for AI in healthcare. Now is the moment to start a company. The UK government must continue encouraging entrepreneurship through strategic funding and developing the startup ecosystem. 🏥 The #NHS is special. Contrary to popular belief, the NHS is one of the most innovative healthcare systems in the world, driven by passionate individuals committed to patient outcomes—don’t underestimate its potential. 🤖 The UK’s AI talent is unmatched. This is our secret weapon in becoming a global AI leader (I can personally vouch for the quality at UCL and Cambridge, but I’m told Oxford isn’t bad). 🔑 Adoption is key. The government should aim to incentivise AI adoption across sectors. Safety must be prioritised, but we cannot forget that progress requires courage. Large-scale AI adoption will drive efficiencies, raise GDP, and stimulate substantial economic growth. I’m excited about the future we’re building—one where the UK leads the world in AI innovation. Grateful for all the incredible people I get to work with on this important mission. Replace bottom caption with "PWPs working for band 4/5 salaries". The PWP role is so valuable to the NHS Talking Therapies system, but we're seeing higher and higher rates of burnout and attrition. More needs to be done across the board to support this clinician group, both internally (eg. quality restorative supervision and the ability to specialise in the role) and externally (eg. our work (that I'm super proud of!) at Limbic around how our AI products can improve clinician wellbeing).

Exciting news! I'm looking for clinicians to further expand our Limbic Clinician Feedback Group💡 Who: At this time I am advertising for any clinicians who regularly conduct assessments in an Adult NHS Talking Therapies Service (eg. PWP, HIT). To be eligible you must conduct a minimum of 2 assessments per week. You do not need to work for a service that is using Limbic products 👨⚕️ 👩⚕️ What: At Limbic we massively value clinician input, and so before we launch any product I want to present it to you guys, the people on the ground who will ultimately use our tools. This means that we will reach out to you throughout the product process. This could be anything from completing an online questionnaire to give us an insight into areas of your work life, to being shown early prototypes, to providing feedback on finished products before they go live. You will be paid for any feedback sessions you attend 🤖 When: Feedback sessions are offered on an ad-hoc basis. You are not held to a minimum number of hours, and Limbic cannot guarantee to offer you hours as feedback sessions are given out on a first come first served basis 📆 Where: All contact with Limbic is online. Feedback sessions are offered by email, and the session itself could be a questionnaire you complete online, an individual online meeting, or a group online feedback session 💻 Why: Everything we do at Limbic is with the aim of improving psychotherapy effectiveness and outcome, be that through making your lives easier as clinicians, saving you time, or helping you to focus on what you want to focus on with your patients, to helping patients access support and engage with their therapy. By providing your feedback you are a valuable part of this process 🚀 If you're interested in signing up then please comment here, DM me, or email me on [email protected]

That's a wrap! 💗 We had a great time at our first British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) Conference. It was also a chance to catch up with our integration partners at PCMIS Health Technologies ! At Limbic, we truly believe that our clinicians are our real-life superheroes. They dedicate their life's work to caring for the health and wellbeing of others. ⚡ We asked clinicians: If you had one superpower to support your practice what would it be, and why? "Give referrer magic powers (better referral data)." "Less admin, more time to listen." "Support in between sessions with meaningful tasks." "Knowing what they (patients) wish they could say to me." Stay in touch at our newsletter linked below to see how Limbic can help amplify your team and unlock their superpowers to be more fulfilled, prepared, and impactful in their practice 💌
