Earlier this month our Senior Director of Operational Strategies, Carl Flach, was invited to participate in the panel discussion on the topic of “Reducing Impact” during the LWG Stakeholder Meeting in Milan. The panelists, who are experts from the leather, footwear and chemical manufacturing industry, shared their valuable experiences and viewpoints on the hot spots of the tanning industry, including chemical management, LCAs and regenerative farming. Thank you Leather Working Group for holding candid conversations between competitors, suppliers and customers. We believe that critical discussions throughout the entire supply chain is necessary to address climate impacts. By working together, we can make a more significant difference in our environment. #ISANextGenMaterials #ISATanTec #nextgenmaterials #leather #leatherindustry #reducingimpact #sustainability #materialinnovation #thebrandbehindthebrand #supplychain #climateimpacts #environmentalconcerns

Our 2024 Autumn Stakeholder Meeting is well underway in Milan, attended by a full house of our Members and Stakeholders. Our Executive Director, Vanessa Podmore, opened the meeting. So far, we've heard from some of our LWG colleagues, WWF, and Tapestry, and we're looking forward to the rest of the day's program.
