This is a tough question to answer isn't it. I'm fact, there are several challenges and it's so hard to pinpoint just one! As a nurse, I think that one of the biggest problems is the extensive amounts of paperwork and audits. This takes us away from our residents and gives us less time to care. Care is important in our care homes. In fact, good, kind and compassionate care is the number 1 thing we should focus on. However compliance is a very close second.
