Congratulations to our Healthcare Support Worker, Michael who won in the Adult Community Learner of the Year category at the first ever Student Awards hosted by Nelson and Colne College Group last week. Businesses, community leaders and other supporters were present at the ceremony, not just to honour the winners, but also to hear about the work going on at the College Group. Michael said: “I was immensely proud of myself and grateful for the support I received from my tutors and colleagues within the Trust. They gave me the confidence and self-belief to achieve my aim of becoming a healthcare support worker.” In collaboration with the Trust and Lancashire Adult Learning Michael enrolled on a unique training programme at one of our inpatient facilities at The Harbour in Blackpool which enabled him to rebuild his life. Well done Michael, fantastic achievement! 💙 You can view our latest healthcare support worker vacancies on our website: https://bit.ly/3WATrrO
