Thankyou to the generosity of West End Diy Corby!   On Tuesday the 22nd of October, we received a kind donation of paint from West End DIY in Corby. The paint is to enable staff to repaint the dayroom, and the reception area in the hospice, as both are in need of a freshen up. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Jordon Cunningham for arranging the donation, and the generosity of the business owner Michael Taylor who continue to actively support Lakelands. The attached photo is of our Nurse Manager Cathy Finnerty and Jordon Cunningham.

We have a brand new activity for businesses!  No sponsorship required, no need to get wet or work up a sweat! This is a Christmas social treat! 🎄 🎄 A Cocktail making session!  🍸 🍸 🍸   Qube Bar in the town centre here in Corby is very kindly hosting these sessions. You will have a choice of up to 40 different cocktails you can choose to learn to make. You get to make and drink 2 for the ticket price of £20. Part of the funds from your ticket will go straight to Lakelands Hospice. You are of course welcome to make use of the bar food menu and stay on for additional drinks if you so choose.   We have several dates available - 14th Nov, 21st Nov, 28th Nov or 5th Dec between 5pm and 8pm. You can book up to 15 people in for an hours session at a time.   All bookings taken through the hospice and your deposit of £8pp is payable to Lakelands 5 days prior to your booking. The balance of £12pp will be paid upon arrival at the bar. The fabulous team SML Group Limited have had a bake sale in the office as part of #ShineforLakelands. Thankyou for getting those baking tins out and raising funds to support the work of our nurses. iForce Limited Corby have been a longstanding support of Lakelands Hospice and we are thrilled to thank them once again for donating to our warehouse shop and our fundraising department. Thy have recently gifted us brand new school uniforms and 5 boxes of wine! Amongst other things. All of which will be put to good use in our fundraising and retail departments to raise vital cash to maintain all our services.
