🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 We are thrilled to welcome our newest team members to Konnect Recruit! 🎉 Join us in extending a warm welcome to Nick Plumridge & Patryk Jesiolowski, who bring a wealth of talent and fresh perspectives to our team. We're excited to have you on board and can’t wait to see the amazing contributions you’ll make. Nick has roughly 15 years’ experience in white collar recruitment specifically for the construction sector. He will be fundamental in getting the white collar sector for our Maidstone branch up and running which has been the missing piece of our puzzle since we started out.   One of our Directors, Nick Grindley has worked with Nick P for a number of years, and they share similar interests and dry humour. He is excited to link up with Nick again, as well as to have an ally in the office with good taste in music. He is also blessed with an incredible hairline that Nick G is immensely jealous of. Pat joined our Southampton branch as a Principal Consultant at the end of August. He will be supplying Blue Collar in the PO and GU postcode areas to main contractors as well as supplying subcontractors on resi sites across the whole patch.   He has fit into the team really well already and has plenty of experience having worked at Oneway for the last 8 years. Congratulations to our Employee of the Month for July - Ollie Dowber- Hawkins 💙 This was the first time we had opened up the nominations for Employee of the Month to everyone and it was no surprise to see Ollie’s name put forward. It’s easy to see how much the team appreciate Ollie's energy and positivity. Constantly cracking jokes and telling funny stories has made the office a more vibrant place to be, and he's firmly established himself as a fan favourite. Aside from the silly sense of humour, Ollie has shown high levels of professionalism and work ethic. He has a natural ability for sales and has shown great resilience and determination. 💙 WORK ANNIVERSARIES 💙 We are delighted to be celebrating TWO 5 year work anniversaries this quarter. Our newly appointed Finance & Support Manager Monika Kumar (Krzywko) and Senior Recruitment Consultant Ellie Mandell are both integral cogs in the Konnect machine and we're so pleased to celebrate this milestone with them 🎉 'Monika started the business as a part time Admin Assistant in 2019. Over the years, she has grown and developed into the go to person for the business. During the last year, Monika has started to move more into the finance side of the business, looking after clients, consultants and us business owners. There has never been anything that she has shied away from and I can’t praise Monika enough for her dedication, commitment and resilience during the past 5 years. A big thank you from everyone at Konnect and here’s to the next 5!' Sam Bestall, Group Director '5 years… a GBH sentence for some… and this is what Ellie and I both feel like about each other, having worked with each other for so long! She was my first Sales Recruit, and we both started out in a ‘prison-like’ office, with only one window at the top of a wall… In a nutshell, there have been some ups, and there have been some downs. The one constant is that throughout this time we have had each other’s backs the whole time. I am not only her boss, but her confidant. Her shoulder to lean on when needed. Not only this, but Ellie has been there for me through the most testing times, personally and business wise. I know I can count on her no matter what, and trust her explicitly. I wouldn’t change her for the world, and am eternally grateful every one of the years she has given me, and Konnect. She continues to grow not only as an individual, but also as a shrewd businesswoman. I cant wait to see the next ‘chapter’ – Ellie is soon to become Team Leader, and so new challenges and hills to climb together. Thank you, Ellie! Long may it continue!' Last month we whisked the team off to sunny Worthing for a day of clay pigeon shooting, axe throwing, delicious BBQ food, drinks and catching up after a great 6 months at Konnect Recruit! We learnt that we have some sharp shooters among us, with medals being dished out left, right and centre 🏅 and some not so sharp shooters who should stick to Recruitment! A huge thank you to Southdown Gun Club & Activity Centre and to all of our amazing team who threw themselves into the day and made it one of our favourite days out so far! Already looking forward to the next time we are all together again 💙

A couple of weeks ago, Konnect's Ben Horner & Julian King attended the Barratt David Wilson Homes Charity Golf Day. Barratt's raised a little over £11K on the day and Ben & Julian had a great day - despite the rain! 🏌♂️ ⛳
