Last night, our Keelings Retail Procurement Team took home the prestigious Best Risk Management Award at The National Procurement Awards!   This is a fantastic achievement for not only our Retail Procurement Team, but the wider Keelings business. This recognition highlights our continued dedication to excellence in procurement, particularly in ensuring accessibility to top quality fruit at affordable prices for our customers.   Following a stringent process, and against strong competition, being recognised in this category is a testament to our team's commitment to embed risk management into our procurement strategy and also reflects our leadership in shaping the future of risk management in procurement.   A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in making this possible, including our customers and the entire Procurement Team.   We would also like to congratulate all other finalists and winners! #NationalProcurementAwards #Keelings #RiskManagement #Procurement #Retail Robert Doyle, Paul Vaughan, Naufal Ahmed

October marks National Apple Month, which coincides perfectly with our Keelings Irish Bramley Apples being in season. Our delicious Bramley Apples are grown on our farms in North County Dublin and can be enjoyed in a variety of dishes, both savoury and sweet. Use some of our crisp and juicy Irish Bramley Apples to make a filling and healthy meal, as a topping on your overnight oats or by simply heating them up as a comforting treat on their own. By choosing our locally grown Bramley Apples, you can support Irish horticulture. #Irishfood #seasonalproduce #betterfood #Irishdessertapples #lovethatkeelingsfeeling

Our colleagues in the UK recently donated 13,500 portions of easy peelers to FareShare UK as part of their summer campaign. We also had a number of our Keelings colleagues in the UK volunteer with the organisation, packing some of the supplies to be distributed to charities across the UK. The FareShareUK summer campaign aimed to create ‘first tastes’ for children and young people across the UK with a variety of products, including fresh produce. The food was supplied to the charity 'Nippers' who said that they don’t spend anything on food, other than what is provided by FareShareUK. We are grateful to be able to support the work of organisations, like FareShareUK, donating healthy and nutritious food to our local communities. #FareShareUK #volunteering #BetterFoodBetterWorld #Keelings

We are thrilled to have welcomed our 2024 graduates, who joined Keelings last month and will be working across various functions at our offices based in St Margaret's and Ballymun, in north County Dublin, Ireland. In their first week, the graduates took part in an induction to learn more about Keelings and what we do. Our graduates will be getting involved in the operations and day-to-day running of Keelings and understanding the different components of our company, giving them the opportunity to develop key skills and collaborate with our teams across the organisation, both in Ireland and internationally. We’re delighted to have them on-board. #graduates #Keelings

Iceland Golf Day On Thursday 12th September, 17 colleagues from Keelings attended Iceland's annual charity golf day at Carden Park in Cheshire, an event which was raising money for the charity CALM.   The event is organised by Iceland Food Charitable Foundation (IFCF) and this is the third year in a row Keelings have sponsored this event, with a stand serving some nutritious and refreshing smoothies, with some delicious sample pots of berries.   These events are a great opportunity for us to work with our customers, whilst helping to support those in need, aligning with our Better Food Better World purpose. CALM (Campaign against Living Miserably) are a UK based charity who work tirelessly to prevent suicide and provide mental health support.   Thank you to all those who attended the day and to those that organised the event. We look forward to continuing our work with Iceland and the continued opportunity to support meaningful causes. #charity #CSR #Keelings #Iceland #CALM #IFCF

We are delighted to share that our Retail business was recently awarded the ISO45001 accreditation, demonstrating our commitment to the highest standards of health and safety management.   ISO45001 provides a framework for organisations to improve workplace health & safety, reduce risks, and create safer working conditions. This accreditation is open to all organisations, not just those in the fresh produce industry. It focuses on proactive risk prevention and continual improvement.    This fantastic achievement was a company-wide initiative, and it would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our teams, well done to everyone involved! #Keelings #ISO45001 #Keelingsretail #healthandsafety

This summer our teams in the UK are helping to support those in need in the community, donating packs of nutritious fresh produce to a local library.   Over the last three weeks, since the partnership began, we have donated 12 boxes of fruit and vegetables to the Burton Latimer Library, which is local to our offices in the UK. The produce that we donate will go towards family food packs that the library offers over the summer to those in need in the local community.   We are delighted to be able to support local communities and charities to provide food to those in need, helping them to enjoy the delicious taste of healthy, nutritious food.   #Keelings #corporatesocialresponsibilty #localcommunities #Betterfood
