JobsInAdtech.com was created to fill a gaping hole in the recruitment process in the advertising technology industry. Despite the industry being almost thirty years old, adtech has had to rely on personal contacts and LinkedIn in order to help companies find candidates, and candidates find companies.
Sites like Indeed and Monster have led the way showing that digital job boards can be hugely successful in supporting recruiters, but have always had far too wide a candidate base to support the adtech industry.
JobsInAdtech.com was soft-launched in April 2023 to aid candidates who are already in the space to simply find which recruiters have live vacant roles today and apply with ease.
We are full supporters of all forms of diversity and inclusion, and will continue to champion this on the frontline for companies that share our values.

I don’t like or dislike this latest announcement from a BAU point of view. The cookie is going away, it’s just going to take time and the consumer is going to have to deliver the final blow.
It embarrassing and frustrating that Google got 5 years into a cul de sac that wasn’t going to serve it’s own interest (creating value for its shareholders), before they finally put their hands up and said “consumer’s choice”
If Sandbox hadn’t been such a clear and obvious disaster maybe they would have stuck to their deadlines (I can’t remember how many of those dates, were rescheduled in hindsight)?
There’s a poem by TS Eliot called The Hollow Men, it starts with a well repeated verse;

Not with a bang but a whimper.
Not related of course.. The poem is about WW1 or something gloomy and this post is about 3PCs…
The only thing that could have prevented this is state or regulatory intervention. Although, there’s so much power and wealth in an organisation of Google’s size that most organs of power would fear the battle in trying to reign them in.
