My First Month at Invuse as an Account Manager 🚀 I'm not usually one for writing blogs and sharing experiences, so I'll keep this short and sweet. Starting a new job is always a mix of excitement and nerves. Luckily, my onboarding at Invuse has been fantastic—well-structured and super supportive, making the transition very smooth! Settling Into the Culture 🌟 Invuse is one of four subsidiaries under Inv Group, and from day one, it was clear that InvGroup is a community focused on innovative collaboration. The onboarding process at Invuse was thorough yet tailored to my learning style, giving me all the tools, connections, and info I needed to succeed. I was introduced to colleagues across all departments and subsidiaries, and each interaction showcased the company's commitment to the culture and teamwork. My Onboarding Experience 📝 I've been in roles where you're either thrown in without training, stuck watching endless training videos, or worse, overwhelmed with two weeks of non-interactive boardroom marathons. So my training at Invuse was quite refreshing! The personalised and interactive training sessions made me feel confident and prepared. There was a lot to take in, but spreading the training out over a longer period really helped me absorb it all. The interactive tasks, self-learning, and examples throughout made it super engaging and effective. Also, getting hands-on with projects and clients early on helped cement my learning. The support from my colleagues and managers made the transition much smoother, and I felt well-equipped to tackle my responsibilities. What I Have Learnt About Invuse So Far 🌍 From the start, I saw Invuse's genuine commitment to making a difference—whether it's improving accessibility, enhancing digital experiences, or creating inclusive environments. The team's dedication to understanding and solving unique challenges is inspiring. It's great to be part of a company aiming for meaningful change, not just success. Each project I've encountered so far highlights the team’s desire to create a positive impact for diverse user groups. Final Thoughts ✨ After a month in, I can confidently say joining Invuse has been a win. There's been a lot to learn, but the support and positive culture have made it all worthwhile. 🌟 "By some estimates, more than 80 percent of AI projects fail — twice the rate of failure for information technology projects that do not involve AI." - RAND article and report in comments section below 🌟 Excited to share some key insights from the #Digitech24 event yesterday in Manchester! 🚀 The talks, particularly from Jonathan Bright, Head of AI for Public Services at the The Alan Turing Institute, who kindly answered a few of my questions around generative AI, were both enlightening and thought-provoking. He discussed the role of generative AI in the workplace, revealing that only 32% of people from various public sector organisations, polled last year, felt their workplace had clear guidelines on using these systems - this statistic highlights the need for clearer guidance from the top-down in using generative AI safely and to its full potential… TLDR; it also showed how much we all like it!! ✅ Take a step back with AI 🐌 A recurring theme throughout the talks was the importance of taking a step back and looking within the organisation to identify potential opportunities for effective AI adoption—or determining whether AI is actually necessary.
