The differences are small, but the impact is massive! 🧩 Every year, Stack Overflow do a survey of developers around the world, and they always differentiate what professional developers say, and what people learning to code say. Of course, we find this very interesting! 🧐 Looking at this analytically, then we can see that three of the languages (JS, PY & HTML/CSS) are favoured by professionals and beginners. However, those learning to code in 2024 shy away from SQL and TypeScript, instead preferring Java and C . Why do you think this is? We think it could be because of the changing requirements of tech roles & job descriptions, the increase of coding schools and the rise of data! We'd love to hear what you think - let's start a discussion about this in the comments 💬 #StackOverflow #Developers #Data #Analysis #CodingData #LearntoCode
