It’s the fuel of innovation. (I knew this from being at Innovia Technology now I know it more) 📊AI is only as good as the data we put in. We need to keep asking solid scientific questions based on unmet need to make the output useful in healthcare. ☑️ I think we need work out how to tackle the black box part of AI technology that is making clinical decisions… any one have thoughts on this? 🦾the future of robotics is soft, small and dettached..! 🩻before we get to full surgical atomation we need get surgical planning and inteoperative data collection good - but what data should we collect? So much more… can’t wait to take this back to the team at Innovia!

It is widely reported that ~50% of people don’t adhere to prescribed medicines, negatively impacting health and economic outcomes. Determinants of non-adherence are vast, but a negative pharmaceutical schema (e.g. belief that medicines are harmful and over-used) has been shown to be associated with greater doubts pf personal need for medicine, higher concerns about taking them, and non-adherence. Prevention is better than cure, but it’s likely that health prevention initiatives will need to either align with prominent beliefs (e.g. natural is best) or change underlying concerns around medicines to unlock greatest potential. Everyone wants healthier choices, particularly if they taste just as good. Many of the Innovia Technology team get disproportionately excited when Alpro chocolate desserts are available at lunchtime.
