We’ve recently made a donation to Inmans Primary School to help the school repair its running track, which the children use to do The Daily Mile. Inmans Primary is very close to our Hull site and takes part in The Daily Mile most days, so we are delighted to be able to support them. The Daily Mile, supported by INEOS, is a social physical activity, with children running, wheeling or walking – at their own pace – in the fresh air with friends. Our INEOS Acetyls team enjoyed participating in the Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University football event ⚽ Congratulations to everyone who took part! 👏
On Saturday we held our very first 6-a-side football tournament sponsored a by PBS Construction (North East) Ltd. Teams from various businesses across the city participated, including Beverley Leisure Homes INEOS Acetyls J. MARR (SEAFOODS) LIMITED Kingspan Data & Flooring Language is Everything Ltd Smith Nephew Sonoco-Trident and our own Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University team. It was a fiercely competitive tournament with lots of grit and determination on display (in spite of the rain!) The semi-finals saw Kingspan Data & Flooring A beat Beverley Leisure Homes and Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University win against Kingspan Data & Flooring B. It was a closely fought match in the final that went into extra time and a ‘golden goal’ situation. Eventually it was Kingspan Data & Flooring A that were victorious and became our first HEY CU football champions. Congratulations to all the teams involved and thank you for all our wonderful Volunteers and the team at @Hymers college for making the day a success!!
