Four weeks to go until our Source to Sea 2024 challenge! This will be the fourth year Industrials REIT have hosted the event and it looks to be our best one yet with 10x teams taking part across the property industry – that is more than double the participants for last year’s event! What is Source to Sea? Each team of seven will run a non-stop relay along the full length of the Thames Path, starting at 9:00am at the Source of the Thames near Cirencester on Thursday 20th June, finishing at the Thames Barrier in London at some point on Friday 21st June. Runners will be paired at night for safety reasons, meaning each team will cover 350km in total by the finish line. Who are we fundraising for? We are raising money for LandAid to raise awareness and vital funds to help end youth homelessness across the UK. All donations, no matter the amount, will make a huge difference to both LandAid and the runners taking on this incredible challenge. We have two teams taking part in the LandAid SleepOut tonight in both London and Manchester. Temperatures are lower than expected but the team have wrapped up as best they can, with only a cardboard box for protection from the elements. Whilst this is not comparable to the 130,000 youths who experience homelessness in the UK, it gives an insight into the challenges they face daily.
