About us

incling was founded in 2013 by a qualitative researcher and developer. We’ve been fortunate enough to have over 200,000 online qualitative conversations in more than 30 languages with participants all over the world. Our platform has a range of tools which have been designed to help research and marketing teams gather in-depth and in the moment qualitative feedback (on any device). incling was originally set up to be a remote company (we like to live the solution we sell) so we’ve been working ‘from home’ for the past 7 years and are well equipped to continue delivering our online communities, interviews and focus groups in the current climate. We've built and refined our own software over the past 7yrs and offer a flexible solution which ranges from DIY platform hire to full service online communities and consultancy to both market research agencies and brands. Our online communities come in all shapes and sizes ranging from quick turn around pre-tasks with as few as 5 participants all the way up to ongoing online communities with 1000's of participants.     We had an incredible summer team meetup last week! 😎 As a fully remote company, we relish the opportunity to meet up in person a few times a year. The team travel in from all over Europe and the UK for a day of team building, training, bonding and of course a good meal with a few celebratory cocktails! True to our mantra, here’s a glimpse of the highlights from last week: 💡Kicking off the day with an immensely energetic and fun team building session lead by Katie Kensit and Naina Oliver at the Impact Factory Training and Development, we covered some big themes including: - Trust: arrives on foot and leaves on horseback, and is the foundation for all successful relationships to flourish! - Establishing common ground: a key ingredient for all high-performing teams, leading to greater collaboration and trust - Social styles: always keep in mind the 4 communication styles to help collaborate more effectively with everyone - Start with why: it’s not about you, it’s about them, showing your understanding of their needs demonstrates your commitment to the relationship - Yes, 'but' vs 'and': ‘but’ is negative whilst ‘and’ accepts and builds on others’ ideas - The art of no: crucial for setting boundaries and for self-resilience After feeding the mind, it was time feed the soul: 🌶️A delicious meal that wowed the senses - from the dry ice presentation to the spiciness levels 🍹Shake it up for cocktail making, some signature cocktails worked out better than others (we don’t judge!) 🎉 General chats & socialising was had, including a sneak peek of a new joiner Lara Hendry Another special team meet up is complete, we’re already looking forward to the next one! #teammeetup #teamday #qualitativeresearch #qual #marketresearch

    Thanks Market Research Society (MRS) for another great annual conference. I enjoyed connecting with some of the regular faces, and meeting some new people. The conference ended with an inspiring and illuminating talk from Raphael Rowe who shared his story, and the power of evidence in creating change. A few notes from the conference... 📚 Enhanced Storytelling & impact: An underlying theme this year was the idea of truth and trust, and the role of telling the right story - one that is shaped to bring to life research EVIDENCE with intention, that's designed to have specific IMPACT that will help clients create ACTION within their organisations. This isn't a new theme, but it seems more pronounced this year against a backdrop of economic uncertainty/low political trust/AI-created content etc... speaking of AI... 🤖 AI Integration and Challenges: It's becoming an integral part of research processes, offering efficiency around repetitive tasks and greater opportunities to dig into/cut/synthesise the data. But, the human touch remains crucial in storytelling and unpicking nuanced insight. AI is another tool in our toolkit, and it's the human touch that brings the most value. "You won’t lose your job to AI, you’ll lose your job to someone who knows how to use AI". 🤝 Client Collaboration and Communication: A lot of organisations are changing/restructuring/consolidating insight units, or have undergone change recently - a deep understanding of your client's internal dynamics and the needs of stakeholders is a big part of what clients are saying and creates the most value in how we approach proposals, projects and importantly - outputs. 🤖👥 Synthetic Data and Human Connection: While synthetic data might offers potential benefits around speed and extending the life of potential audience personas, the underlying tone so far still points to a preference for, and trust in, engaging with real people. And importantly - synthetic data will always need to be updated and refreshed with first-hand data from real people and their changing opinions and behaviours (we're not out of a job just yet). 🌱 Inclusion and Employee Well-being: Inclusive and supportive strategies to our research design and how we run and recruit for our companies, are and should be treated as the norm - but there is still a lot we can do - the @MRS has best practice materials to proactively make these things happen and should be explored. #mrslive #marketresearch #conference #2024 #agency #client
