Please give a warm welcome to Cristina Marson, another intern joining us this Summer! 🎉 Cristina studied Biomedical Sciences at University of Oxford before pursuing an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise at University of Cambridge. She has experience in life sciences consulting and has held several business intern roles at various startups. Cristina will be joining us for two months as a full-time business intern and is excited to continue expanding her experience in this field. She will be working on several business development projects ranging from marketing to strategic asset assessment and investor relations. We look forward to seeing her apply her skills and bring her enthusiasm to the team! #Internship #SummerInterns #BiomedicalScience #LifeSciencesConsulting #BusinessDevelopment #Marketing #StrategicAssessment #InvestorRelations #CambridgeAlumni #OxfordAlumni #LifeSciences #StartupExperience #TeamGrowth #InternshipExperience #BusinessIntern #NewTalent

🙏 Thank you OBN (UK) Ltd for the chance to present at #bioseedsummer2024 🏙️ It is my first time in #onecanadasquare at the heart of Canary Wharf - mad to think they are putting labs up here! 🗣️ I told a room full of investors and entrepreneurs about our unique asset salvaging model and the progress we have made in the last 6 months. 🙌 Great to see people I haven’t spoken to for a while coming over and congratulating us on our progress and milestones! #biotech #safety #fundraising #assetturnaround #aidrugdiscovery #drugfailures #entrepreneurship

Ignota Labs is proud of our dedication to offering internships that provide a holistic experience of working in a startup. We are excited to announce that we have three talented interns joining us this summer. To introduce them, we are launching a series of posts, starting with Katie Beckwith. Katie is a third year PhD candidate on the SynTech CDT at the University of Cambridge focusing on explainable AI in chemistry, with a focus on toxicology, under the supervision of Professor Jonathan Goodman. Prior to this she completed a MChem in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Leeds, where she first investigated the use of AI and machine learning in chemistry during her masters dissertation; which focused on using machine learning and local chemical descriptors for the prediction of nucleophilicity parameters. Katie will be joining Ignota Labs for the summer and will be focusing on investigating both model specific and agnostic explainability techniques to determine which techniques produce reliable toxicophores for a given endpoint. #Internship #StartupLife #AI #MachineLearning #Chemistry #Toxicology #ExplainableAI #STEM #WomenInSTEM #CareerDevelopment #PhD #Research #Innovation
