Utilising the latest in Unreal Engine 5 technology, Luminova helps you get the full picture of architectural drawings by providing a full, accurate visualisation of a space. And, when combined with an Igloo immersive space, it gives you that sense of scale and depth that is otherwise not possible – allowing you to speed up the decision-making process. It’s been a whirlwind 2 weeks and finally getting the time to relax, reflect and share. A fortnight that started with the excitement of workshopping our vision and strategy for #AI in Nuclear & Power and has ended with our team attending 2 award evenings being shortlisted in 3 categories across both the Digital Construction Week and New Civil Engineer Awards. Our Virtual Site Access Service https://lnkd.in/epaP3_rJ unfortunately was unsuccessful at the NCE awards however was triumphant at the DCA’s picking up the award for “Best Application of Technology” https://lnkd.in/eSzspBv6 This has been several years in development working with Boston Dynamics, Igloo Vision, Microsoft Hololens 2 and GoPro to name but a few. Our clients Sellafield Ltd, EDF, Nuclear Restoration Services and National Grid (amongst others) have been hugely supportive customers being receptive to applying these technologies and services to reduce risk, save time, costs and travel carbon. The biggest thanks and plaudits (last but by no means least) must go to the AtkinsRéalis teams and who alongside myself have seen a vision come to life and spearheaded the development and adoption of the service. Congratulations to AtkinsRéalis, which has WON the award for ‘Best Application of Technology’ at the Digital Construction Awards🏆 The award, delivered in partnership with Digital Construction North, recognised AtkinsRéalis for its Virtual Site Access technology.
