We're excited to announce our 2024 Charity Partner of the Year is Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). Our Iceland Foods Family will together help CALM to unite against suicide and #BreakTheIce by starting 5 million life-saving conversations to help ensure that more people than ever are encouraged to stay. The last few years have been tough, but we don’t talk enough about our struggles. Together with CALM we’ll support colleagues and customers to start those crucial life-saving conversations, smash the silence around suicide and show anyone struggling there’s always hope. 1 in 5 people will have suicidal thoughts in their lifetime and someone calls CALM’s helpline every 60 seconds. With the support of staff and colleagues, the money raised could help fund CALM’s helpline, with each call being the one that could save a life. If you, or anyone you know is struggling right now, please visit www.thecalmzone.net for advice and support. Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation has raised £37 million to date and our mission is to make life better for people.
About us
Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation (IFCF) has donated an incredible £37 million to date. The Foundation has been in existence since 1973 as we have always been committed to raising funds for good causes. In 2013 we gave the Foundation a public face to help recognise the achievements of our colleagues and customers and to make it easier for people to support us. This is the IFCF we know today, and you will see in Iceland and The Food Warehouse Stores. Our mission is simple and clear: we want to make life better for people. That’s why we raise money and awareness for good causes - and because we believe it’s simply the right thing to do. At IFCF we have four core focus areas where we try to make a significant difference. Over the years we have also supported several fantastic causes and organisations. Our core areas are dementia, wellbeing, environment and children related charities. We are proud to represent our charity partners as we are stronger together!

Good Luck John Salad and the rest of the Iceland Foods Team who are hiking up Snowdon (in the dark!) for Campaign Against Living Miserably 💪 ⛰ 🙌 Please support our team! 🤗
I'm taking a stand against suicide and I've decided to team up with some of my colleagues at Iceland Foods for a midnight climb up Snowdon on the 20th July. ⛰ 🚶♂️ 🌙 Campaign Against Living Miserably are partners with the Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation this year and this is a cause that's very close to me so I've just kicked things off with my own donation to CALM. I completed an MHFA course in the past and I've always been a strong advocate of Mental Health. When I saw the opportunity to take part in the Snowdon climb I didn't have to think twice. It would be amazing if you can make a contribution to the cause and you can do so here: https://lnkd.in/epp3KAxP I'll post some pics of us conquering Snowdon post-climb. 💪 📸 Many thanks, 🙏 Dan Etheridge TAP.cert Callum Lomas

Iceland Foods CEO Tarsem Dhaliwal listens to brave Iceland colleague Claire Goring (nee Pembleton)'s story, who sadly lost her dad to suicide, and why our Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) partnership means so much to her. We partnered with CALM to raise awareness of the suicide prevention charity and to #BreakTheIce and help create 5 million life-saving conversations, one for every customer that walks through our store doors each week. 💚 On the night of 20th July, I'm braving the dark along with my Iceland colleagues to climb the highest Mountain in England and Wales; Snowdon. It's in support of this year's Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation charity partner, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). ❔Why am I doing it? ❕Because I believe support for mental health isn't where it needs to be. ❕Because charities like CALM are saving lives. ❕Because one day someone I know, might need saving. ❕Because I can. ❔What can you do to help? ☕ For just the price of a coffee, you can help change or even save a life. Please consider sponsoring me and the team by donating your next coffee fund to CALM (link below 👇🏼). Your small contribution can make a big difference, providing support and hope to those struggling with their mental health. If you 'don't buy coffee', then please like, comment, or repost for greater reach and awareness. Thank you for your support 🙂 #MentalHealth #BreakTheIce #MentalWellness #PhysicalWellness #Wellbeing #CommunitySupport #SupportNetwork #Walking #Talking #ReigniteFindYourSpark
