I absolutely loved by being part of the #RiseResidential24 Summit, co-leading a highly interactive workshop with Jason Blackstock on problem-solving for the Rise Global Winners. In our workshop, these exceptional young individuals worked through a series of collaborative exercises focused on their innovative projects. 🌍 Rise supports young individuals addressing some of the world's most pressing challenges and it was super inspiring to experience such strong synergies with our work at How to Change the World! It is clear that Rise is more than just a program; it’s a global movement that discovers and nurtures young talent, providing them with opportunities to collaborate and serve their communities throughout their lives. A big thank you to Mark German Madison McCormick and the entire Rise team for organizing such a meaningful event. ✨I’m excited to see how these young innovators will continue to make an impact on the world. ✨ #RiseForTheWorld #RiseGlobalWinners #Innovation #YouthLeadership #ProblemSolving #GlobalImpact

❓Should we be seeking advice *now* from the leaders of our future❓ Our interview with Rose Cameron highlights the transformative power of ✨reverse mentoring✨ within our program's pedagogy. While Cameron supported students during our Bootcamps, she recognized that the energy, drive, and awareness among the young are crucial components that today's leaders often lack. 🧑🎓 Such cross-generational engagement is key to finding adaptive, inclusive solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues. - #ReverseMentoring #FutureLeaders #LeadershipDevelopment #CrossGenerational #InclusiveLeadership #MentorshipMatters #AdaptiveLeadership #InnovationInEducation #EdTech #FutureOfWork

University of Calgary, is redefining the traditional learning experience by taking education outdoors. Guided by Indigenous Elders, they've introduced land-based experiential learning, empowering students to connect deeply with the land and the relationships it nurtures. Jennifer MacDonald, a PhD candidate at the Werklund School of Education, highlights that "experiential learning is important because it offers opportunities to learn in ways that aren’t just regurgitating, reading or memory recall. It becomes more heartfelt because students make a connection with it.” For higher education institutions to stay relevant in today’s competitive landscape, they must break the mould and embrace #experientiallearning. https://lnkd.in/djUNYmqA
