Alana is a social entrepreneur with over a dozen years of experience building impactful ventures in sustainable development, microfinance/financial inclusion, energy access and impact investing. Her work has taken her across the United States, South Asia, and East Africa with companies such as Grassroots Capital Management, Factor[e] Ventures, and Mirova SunFunder. Currently she is building How to Change the World alongside her co-founder Jason Blackstock (also a Transcend Fellow - TF11)! Alana is focused on revolutionizing experiential learning.
