The Business & Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC Devon)’s free 7-week ‘Boost Your Start-Up’ course launches on 16th September and is designed to help you make sense of the entrepreneurial journey ahead. There are sessions in-person in Teignbridge and online that you can attend, which can be played back after the end of the workshop.  The principles are easy to follow regardless of your experience, and you are encouraged to ask questions at the end of every session.  Step by step, week by week, the course will cover the key business skills you’ll need to launch a successful small business. Business Start-Up Course for Somerset start-ups! This fully funded start up course is designed for those who are starting a business, or have recently started a business but are looking for support to help it thrive. It runs on consecutive Wednesdays , 11th, 18th and 25th September (3 sessions total) from 10am to 1pm (delivered online) . Covering marketing, finance, business planning and cashflow over three weeks, completing this course also leads to a certificate from the IOEE in “Planning to Start Up a Business”. Connecting Devon and Somerset’s (CDS) Mobile Boost scheme relaunched recently with a £430,000 investment through the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership's (HotSWLEP) Growth Deal. The scheme is available to businesses and homes in Somerset and Devon offering vouchers of up to £1,300 towards technology to help improve indoor mobile coverage and connectivity.
