Assisted dying is in the spotlight as MPs consider a bill this month. Hospice UK is neutral on a change in the law. Regardless of the outcome, we believe it's crucial to ensure everyone has access to quality end-of-life care and to consider all details in this complex debate.

The group brings with them a wealth of experience from both within and beyond the hospice sector. Our recent 'Write to your MP' campaign has been met with huge support from the public. But how and why has it been so successful? The next meeting of our Income Generation Leaders Network will be a panel discussion with some of the people behind the campaign. We'll be sharing data and insights from the campaign, as well as an update on our lobbying work. We'll also hear from Ashgate Hospice about how they mobilised the campaign locally. How would your hospice use £40,000 to improve care for people with progressive neurological conditions? Apply to our new grant programme, and you could make your vision a reality. Supported by the Masonic Charitable Foundation, these grants can be used to start a project from scratch, or improve an existing programme of work.
