💚 Everything is homemade at Honest and that extends to our lemonade. 🍋 Any guesses as to how much we've made since the beginning of time (it's been on our menu since 2011)? 🧐 Just this year, our prep kitchen team have produced a whopping 202,556 litres of homemade lemonade - that's our classic and mint lemonade combined - and with this amount we could fill a 25 metre swimming pool over 8 times. 🤯 🏊♂️ It's a firm favourite with customers and Honest employees - come and see what all the fuss is about. 💚 Ops takeover 💚   Over the last few months our Operations Managers took over Southbank and St Katherine’s Dock restaurants. This provided a great opportunity for the restaurant teams to enjoy a well-deserved night-out and gave the Ops Managers chance to refamiliarise themselves with the day-to-day life of our hard-working teams. The restaurants are still in one piece and the Ops Managers are on a post-shift high, so it's safe to say that they'll be back for more 🤗 .   Shout out to the helping hands of our Ops Director Lee and a few other experienced hands from our restaurants. 💚 This week we gave our Head of Food, Adam Layton the tough task of sharing his top 3 local burgers… read on and be prepared to feel hungry. 🤤 -   Windsor: This burger is made special by a couple of awesome collabs - we teamed up with a local business called The Test Kitchen, which was established as a food truck by gourmand couple Milly and John back in 2017. It also features a delicious Waterloo cheese which is made 20 miles away. The Windsor local is Honest beef burger with Waterloo cheese, bacon, tarragon and miso butter, crispy onions, mushroom sour cream, lettuce and beef jus mayo. -   Holborn: This local special has been on the menu for over 4 years, being one of the longest standing local burgers. It's a collab with Baggio Burgers, run by a father and son team known for their Amalfi-coast-inspired burgers. 🇮🇹 With our shared love of Italian ingredients, the Holborn special is a winning combination of Honest beef burger, crispy Parma ham, mozzarella, Baggio Burger salsa verde, nduja mayo, rocket and red onion. -   Brewer Street: This is one of the latest local specials created by Brewer St Grill Master, Dante. This is our take on classic southern fried chicken biscuits, levelled up with WilderBee Hot Honey which was created on board chef Dan Shearman’s ethical food truck in 2014. The Brewer Street special is Honest fried chicken with American cheese, buffalo sauce, WilderBee Hot Honey, brown butter mustard mayo, lettuce and pickles. 🐔 🍯 #collaboration #localspecial #localproducts #passion
