Achieving our green objectives as an organisation requires all parts of the business pulling together in the same direction, and finding innovative and creative opportunities to minimise our environmental impacts. We are really proud how engaged and proactive all of our colleagues are to helping us meet those goals. For our North East repairs service, we handle a large and diverse amount of waste streams, from general waste in skips to specialist disposals for paint, plasterboard and more. Over the past 12 months, we have been able to divert 97.6% of this waste from landfill via recycling and over recovery streams.
