It's clear that working models (whether remote, hybrid or otherwise) have shifted radically leaving leaders with a lot to navigate! 6 years from now 36% of our Tech organisations will be made up of Gen Z and young millennials. This Thursday and Friday we've got a stand (#12) at TNW Conference in Amsterdam. The team are getting prepped to land and get straight into BizDev and Brand Build mode. However I feel like I'm attending for a variety of additional reasons alongside landing some leads; 1) Test pitch and PMF. Really dig into what people are hearing. Do they understand our pitch to be solving their problems or are we just listing features that don't mean anything to them? 2) Speak to a wide range of users and companies outside of our usual ICP. Where are there new opportunities, what features/products might expand our fit into new markets? 3) Spend time learning from our amazing team! We've got Marketing, Brand, Product and BizDev attending. I want to hear how they speak about our product, see where there are knowledge gaps, and also learn more about how they think about our product and customers. 4) Recharge! As a pretty classic extrovert (although flexing introverted more and more these days) I do find the never ending groups of people to speak to pretty exciting. I always come away from conferences feeling refreshed mentally (if a little tired physically!). So it's not all about landing an 8 figure deal, although that would be great too.
