It was an absolute pleasure working with Elliot Howard-Jones and Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust to recruit David Bacon's successor as he looks to enjoy his retirement. I was genuinely inspired by the culture, team spirit and ambition across the organisation. Congratulations Frances Khatcherian, I am absolutely delighted for you and best of luck in the new role.

It was an emotional occasion for HCT colleagues this week to say goodbye to David Bacon our Director of Finance who retires after six years at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. It was emotional for David too who cites HCT as the most enjoyable and satisfying role of his 33-year NHS career. A big thank you to David for your stellar years of service and leadership through some of the Trust's hardest challenges. You will be really missed, and although it is very sad to see you go, 👋 we wish you all the very best for the future in this next phase of your life.

This week we're delighted to announce the appointment of our new Director of Finance, Systems and Estates, Frances Khatcherian 🌟 Frances will start at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust in September, joining from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust where she is currently Director of Financial Recovery and Transformation.
