Henshaws' successful Manchester social gathering 👏🏼 A wonderful group of 45 people attended our meet-up, and what a day it was! Lead by Mark, our Head of Enablement, the gathering was organised so people from similar areas could get together in the same room, meet new people, share their experiences, and discuss new meet-up ideas for the future. It was a really fun day; everyone came up with great ideas and suggestions for moving forward. We also loved hearing about what everyone is interested in, from food and pub crawls to walking, bowling, theatre trips, chess, and more. We're excited to see how the connections grow! An amazing Arts and Crafts Centre work placement! Cameron, who is a student at our amazing Specialist College, enjoyed work placement recently, completing several tasks including sweeping paths, sieving compost, and relocating it to some newly planted bedding for replenishment and raking fallen leaves. He was pleased to be reunited with Sue ~ who put together jobs in the gardens. He loves spotting bugs and wildlife and was captivated with a ladybird! On return we did a reflection on the day using the Velcro sheets and he was forthcoming and enthusiastic, reading and selecting the completed tasks. Well done Cameron! #WorkExperience #LifeExperiences
