We want to congratulate The Watt family on securing planning approval for the redevelopment of their site, located on Ballynure Road, Ballyclare.   The Garage Filling station, trading as SPAR, will undergo a retail extension of 1,992 sq ft to the existing shop resulting in a total shop size of 4,413 sq ft. Catering to every shopper's need, the store will boast a new hot food rental unit, improved signage/ elevations, and a reconfigured forecourt to enhance parking and manoeuvrability.   Darryl Watt, store owner said; "It's exciting times in Ballyclare, and we are pleased to get underway with what will be the 4th re-development of this site. The business has grown with the support of the town and community, and it's a testament to our shoppers that the new store will open in our 70th year. We look forward to providing an expanded range of local products and tasty food made in store, alongside an extensive range of fresh produce, improved hot food, and Ultra-Fast EV Charging." The team here at Hendersons are excited to support The Watt Family through this redevelopment journey, which is set to begin this year with a target completion date of March 2025. The store will re-brand to our latest SPAR Fresh imagery, reflecting its new and improved offerings.
