Henderson Foodservice, incorporating BD Foods & Foodco, is one of Ireland’s leading suppliers to the foodservice industry. Our strength is upheld in our staff and heritage spanning 50 years to maintain a focus on delivering quality and service excellence. We proudly support and serve over 4,500 customers across multiple sectors including hotels, restaurants, pubs, education, bakery, wholesale, cafes and coffee shops, workplace catering and travel/leisure across the Island of Ireland. Our unrivalled range includes locally produced products to national brands across multiple temperature bands and categories including fresh supplies such as meat, game and produce, to store cupboard ingredients. Our BD Foods and Foodco range include specialist bakery, premium desserts and ingredients ideal for international cuisines. We also exclusively supply the Country Range brand in Ireland, which is widely regarded as the best own brand in the foodservice industry. We have a close partnership with UCC to offer a complete solution for coffee facilities, including machinery, training, and servicing. What does it take to become a host for Open Kitchen Week? As a host, you will be asked to offer up to three kitchen guest slots. These can be anything from a couple of hours up to maximum 8 hours long. We are targeting Open Kitchen participation at anyone who might be considering their future career or a potential career change, as well as at anyone who influences career choices. This includes: ⏺School Students/School leavers ⏺Transition Year, Leaving Cert, Leaving cert applied ⏺Career Changers ⏺People looking to return to work/unemployed ⏺Student Chefs ⏺Teachers, Career Guidance Counsellors, TY Coordinators, Home Economics teachers But we believe anyone visiting a professional kitchen, having a positive experience, and telling that story, is a good thing and contributes to changing perceptions.
