This includes authorities, undertakers and contractors with an interest in or responsible for sustainability Why Attend: Building on the momentum from our April 2023 seminar and workshop, where we established a design brief for the UK’s streets during the ‘Discovery and Design Phases’ of the Road to Net Zero project, this workshop will be instrumental in shaping the ‘Delivery Phase.’ Key Focus Areas: - Carbon Calculator: Assessing and reducing carbon footprints - All Consequences Calculator: Evaluating comprehensive impacts of projects - Decision Support Framework: Utilising optioneering tools to explore and minimise carbon emissions for proposed works What to Expect: - Interactive presentations by the RTNZ team - Engaging discussion sessions on critical topics - Valuable delegate feedback and comments on the tools - Networking opportunities to foster collaboration The workshop will be facilitated by the University of Birmingham research team, and a comprehensive report capturing stakeholder insights will be disseminated widely afterwards.
