Here are a few PPE facts that might surprise you... 👀 ⛑️ PPE is not actually meant to be the first point of call when it comes to worker safety! In fact, PPE is actually the last line of defense after implementing other safety measures like engineering and administrative controls. 🥼Proper training is crucial! Simply having PPE isn't enough. Workers need thorough training on how to use, maintain, and properly wear PPE to ensure their safety. 🥽 PPE needs to be regularly inspected for wear and tear. Damaged equipment can be just as dangerous as no equipment at all! 🦺 Comfort and fit matter, as Ill-fitting PPE can hinder performance and lead to safety risks!
