Amazing to be part of Catalyse Change CIC's Catalyst Summit 2024, supporting young women and non-binary changemakers to kickstart their climate career journeys. Meaningful support and mentorship are critical in this sector - particularly for so many young people who face barriers to accessing opportunities in the climate space. I'm really proud that Greenhouse Communications is supporting this year's programme. This is the third year that I've joined the Catalyst Summit, and it's always so inspiring to meet a cohort of brilliant, diverse people who are excited about breaking into the climate space. It was a joy to reflect on my career journey so far, and answer lots of insightful questions from the catalysts. A huge thank you to TRACI LEWIS for inviting me back this year - I can't wait to see how these brilliant folk will change the world 🔥 🔥

B Corp certification has been officially revoked from Havas 🙌   🗣 We signed a Clean Creatives open letter to B Lab, requesting that they review the status of B Corps like Havas, who continue to work with fossil fuel polluters like Shell. We urged them to apply the same criteria to advertising and PR agencies with fossil fuel clients as are applied to polluting companies themselves.   Today's decision is welcome news to all professionals and creatives advocating for urgent climate action.    Read more about B Lab's decision below and check out the Clean Creatives Pledge 👇

👏 BREAKING NEWS: B Lab has officially revoked Havas’ B Corp certification in response to its work with fossil fuel polluter, Shell. Havas London, Havas Lemz, Havas New York, and Havas Immerse are no longer Certified B Corps. This decision follows pressure from 27 B Corps in the Clean Creatives network, as well as many other professionals and creatives advocating for urgent climate action across the Ad & PR industry. This wouldn’t have been possible without them. We want to thank B Lab for making the right call to protect their standards from agencies that want to use the certification as cover for greenwashing. We hope to see similar decisions made for other B Corp agencies that continue to work with fossil fuel polluters. B Lab said that “We thank the complainants in this case for their role in the investigation and encourage individuals with concerns about Certified B Corps to continue to use B Lab’s Public Complaint Process.” 🖊️ If you work in the Ad & PR industry and want to see Havas drop its fossil fuel clients next, you can sign the Clean Creatives pledge at cleancreatives.org

  • 💡🌿Cross-country learning visits are catalysts for innovation, especially when it comes to transforming #FoodSystems. In a new Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU) photo story, learn how experts from Ethiopia and India are connecting across borders to scale regenerative agriculture 👇 https://lnkd.in/eRCaZMSA

Digital conferencing technology was a lifeline for the #FoodSystems community during the pandemic, allowing global teams to stay connected and maintain their initiatives when travel and social distancing restrictions were in place. But when it comes to transforming agriculture, there’s no substitute for getting together in person, sharing knowledge over a locally-grown meal, and learning first-hand from farmers and communities about the challenges they face and the solutions they’ve pioneered to tackle them. This year, FOLU’s India and Ethiopia country platforms have been doing exactly that – connecting across borders as part of a cross-country learning programme on sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Read about the programme in this photo story, which captures snapshots from its various workshops, site visits and field trips, and highlights what the countries can learn from each other’s respective initiatives to improve livelihoods 👩🌾, soil health 🌱 and yields 🌾 https://lnkd.in/eRCaZMSA
