We're another month closer to the launch of FuturU's Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate, subject to Ofqual approval. Here's a quick update on everything that's been going on behind the scenes since our last update in June: ✅ We, along with other awarding organisations, met with the DHSC on 11 July who advised that the funding previously announced will now go through a ministerial review – this is standard practice following the election of a new government - we expect to hear back following the review in the next six to eight weeks ✅ As part of our commitment to providing learners with the support they need to be successful throughout their learning journey, our team of learning experts has created an in-depth onboarding module ✅ We hosted two more introductory webinars, one for organisations and one for learners, all about the qualification FuturU is building. Couldn’t make the live sessions? You can watch a recording back here: You can read the full update over on our blog: https://lnkd.in/eUvhCayH #CareCertificate #Level2AdultSocialCareCertificate #ProfessionalDevelopment #HealthcareTraining #CareerGrowth #AdultSocialCare #InnovativeLearning

Get to know Nia Evans, our wonderful End-Point Assessment Coordinator, a little better in our latest #FacesofFuturU interview ✨ If you partner with FuturU for End-Point Assessments, or are an apprentice with an EPA coming up soon, it's very likely you've spoken with Nia already. That's because it's her job to support our learners and training partners, ensuring everything's running smoothly for them. 💡 One question we've heard a lot from learners considering the new Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate is how it compares to existing qualifications and training already out there. From the Care Certificate and Level 2 Diploma in Care through to apprenticeships, there are indeed a number of alternatives available. But there are some key differences between them and the new qualification. Here's just some of the benefits of the new Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate: 👉 The new Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate is uniquely tailored for adult social care professionals, providing focused training unlike other broader Level 2 and 3 Diplomas 👉 This qualification has been extensively reviewed and updated by DHSC and Skills for Care, and covers essential topics like digital skills, infection prevention, and personal wellbeing, reflecting post-Covid-19 priorities 👉 It's an accredited qualification and nationally recognised, eliminating the need for retraining when changing jobs. You can find more information on how the new qualification differs from others over on our blog: https://lnkd.in/eK4MtJK9 #CareCertificate #Level2AdultSocialCareCertificate #ProfessionalDevelopment #HealthcareTraining #CareerGrowth #AdultSocialCare #InnovativeLearning
