We're all about the explainers at the moment. As we prepare for the next 9-Grid™ release (Cloud HR, September), it's worth reflecting on last year's entrants, but also digging a bit deeper into one of the key dimensions of any Fosway Group 9-Grid™ - Total Cost of Ownership. It's not just about your chosen platform's licensing costs - there's a lot more to consider when evaluating TCO. Chief Insights Officer David Perring, FLPI tells us more: "The cost of owning, running and maintaining a system often dwarf the license costs that buyers focus on. "The majority of organisations who purchase HR systems appear to have a distorted view of how much their HR systems cost to buy and run. They rarely talk about the full total cost of owning and running their HR solutions. "Typically there is an over-emphasis on the license costs of a solution.. But, what we see is that license costs are only a fraction. You also need to consider discovery, acquisition, implementation, operation and innovation costs." Something to think about. We'll dive deeper next time...

Explainer time: The 9-Grid™ cycle for our five chosen areas of expertise (Cloud HR, Talent & People Success, Learning Systems, Digital Learning, Talent Acquisition) makes up the backbone of the Fosway Group research programme, but how does the 9-Grid™ work and what do the different zones all mean? We’ve given our intro pages a reboot so we can better answer the following questions: - What is the 9-Grid™? - How does it differ from other tools? - What does the 9-Grid™ enable you to do? - What do the different Zones mean? …and plenty more. Have a read of our new, interactive explainer page and, if you still prefer a download, the links to the original document are still there too. Fosway Group welcome your questions and we look forward to publishing the next 9-Grid™, for Cloud HR, in September 2024. https://lnkd.in/e7n7sbgk #HR #Learning #DigitalLearning #Talent

Fosway Group, in association with UNLEASH has launched the latest wave of its HR Realities research. Now in its tenth year, the research explores how HR teams are managing their people strategies in the context of uncertain economics, digital transformation, talent shortages, AI proliferation and shifting workplace dynamics. As HR teams navigate a constantly changing landscape of work that produces an endless array of challenges and opportunities, Fosway Group’s partnership with a business publisher and HR events pioneer like UNLEASH on this latest iteration of HR Realities is much anticipated, once again. The survey opens today, running over the summer of 2024, with the first results and insights shared exclusively at UNLEASH World, their Paris event on 16 and 17 October. Last year's research findings revealed the critical importance of employee experience, with 77% of respondents considering EX most important to the future success of HR operations. Also high on the HR agenda once again was skills, with 95% recognising prioritisation of a skills strategy as an important enabler of not only a differentiated EX, but also business success. This year's research will look at how HR teams are managing these myriad changes, exploring areas including HR investment, ecosystem changes, tech adoption and priorities for the year ahead.
