New research on foot and ankle MRI scans in asymptomatic professional ballet dancers has been published by Fortius Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon Professor James Calder, Consultant Radiologists Dr Adam Mitchell and Dr Justin Lee, and Director of Research, Effectiveness and Standards Mary Jones. The purpose of the research is to assess foot and ankle MRI scans in asymptomatic ballet dancers focusing on bone marrow edema and the posterior ankle, and to investigate whether these MRI findings would become symptomatic within 1 year. https://ow.ly/Che250T1mJz

New research on ligament reconstruction has been published by Fortius Consultant Knee Surgeons Mr Andy Williams, Mr Sam Church and Mr Simon Ball, and Director of Research, Effectiveness and Standards Mary Jones. Fortius Clinic was delighted to be one of the sponsors of the Wimbledon Guild charity golf day at Royal Wimbledon Golf Club. Through ticket sales, sponsorship, auction, raffle and donations, the day raised £56,000. The money will be used to buy a new people carrier so the community charity can continue to support the people who need it across the London Borough of Merton.
