The only issue is that some of the targets were placed inside a flower bush that had bees in it 🤣 but otherwise, a good time was had and it got me exercising. 20% of our customers buy a VR headset to use FitXR. However, the majority of headset owners don't know about fitness as a use case before making their purchase. Interestingly, after discovering it, most say it would have influenced their decision to buy earlier. It's clear that the bottleneck to mass adoption of VR isn't just improving hardware or software, but rather getting more people to try the existing content on headsets. Once people experience VR, they're blown away by it. VR headsets shouldn't be limited to the gaming section. We need to see more headsets being demo'd in a wider range of retail locations. Use case specific devices will help support this. #VR #FitXR #VirtualReality

Peloton’s recent backlash represents the wake-up call needed for the wider fitness industry. For those not following, Peloton slashed their free pricing tier recently, and this week saw a 15% cut to their workforce and CEO Barry McCarthy stepping down as stock prices have tanked. It’s time to break the cycle and rethink strategies. To turn this around, Peloton must align their product strategy with their marketing: “Anyone. Anywhere.” For too long, the industry has targeted those already exercising, neglecting those who feel excluded from traditional fitness. With rising obesity rates and sedentary lifestyles, there’s a pressing need for fitness solutions that cater to a wide audience and address this global health crisis. At FitXR, we’ve witnessed firsthand how fun, accessible and diverse offerings can transform perceptions of fitness.
