PRODUCED WATER 💧 🛢: LiqTech International Inc has delivered a commercial pilot unit for the filtration of oil and gas produced water to National Energy Services Reunited Corp (NESR), a provider of integrated energy services in the Middle East and North Africa. The LiqTech containerized PureFlow system will be used at customers’ sites in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries (GCC) to demonstrate and document the efficiency of LiqTech's silicon carbide ceramic ultrafiltration technology in treating produced water to facilitate re-injection and beneficial reuse and meet current and future regulatory requirements. Longer term, the intention is to use the results and operational evidence from this pilot to design and implement full-scale commercial systems. “Water shortage is becoming an increasingly important topic for industrial applications across the globe,” said Fei Chen, CEO of LiqTech International. “The oil and gas industry in particular understands how the ability to effectively treat produced water can play a key role in terms of overall sustainability, financial success and regulatory compliance.” 👉 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dYGWE5f2 #oilandgas #producedwater #oilandgasproducedwater #filtration #ceramicultrafiltration #ultrafiltration

DRINKING WATER ✈: Pentair is working with Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport - MSP to sustainably deliver drinking water while reducing the need for single-use plastic water bottles for the millions of travellers who visit and fly through the hub each year. As the Official Water Sponsor of MSP, Pentair is working to help the airport promote sustainability through the installation of 10 HOPE Hydration HydroStations. The cutting-edge HydroStations are the first water refill stations of their kind at any airport worldwide, dispensing free, chilled, and filtered water while providing an interactive experience to users. Through the HydroStations, Pentair and MSP will be educating travellers about water-related issues and the positive environmental impact they can make by bringing and filling a reusable water bottle while travelling. The HydroStations feature filtration technology by Everpure from Pentair Water Solutions. “Pentair aims to create a better world for people and the planet through smart, sustainable water solutions,” said Adrian Chiu, EVP and president, Pentair Water Solutions. “Our Everpure filtration technology is a leader in the foodservice industry, and we are excited to bring our filtration expertise to MSP in support of their efforts to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainable practices by providing travelers with free, filtered water at the HydroStations.” “Our mission is to encourage people to refill, not landfill; we are excited to showcase the Hope HydroStation at MSP, one of the world's leading sustainable airports, powered by Pentair's advanced Everpure filtration technology.
