⭐️ Exciting news today from the Felix team! ⭐️ We are happy to welcome Willian Shiang as our Chief Operating Officer, a new position in the growing Felix team. As COO, Willian is working with the existing leadership team to expand the firm's infrastructure and tech platform, set up operational strategy and manage day-to-day #operations of the firm including Finance and Legal. We have known Willian for over eight years and worked closely together at YOOBIC, a Felix Capital portfolio company, where he spent six years as COO / CFO. At YOOBIC, Willian supported the founding team, scaling the business 7x during his tenure, moving it to profitability during COVID and helping raise a $50m C round. Willian was instrumental in consolidating YOOBIC as a category leader in the #SaaS for #FrontlineEmployees space. Prior to this, Willian spent a decade as an investor at The Carlyle Group, based out of Sao Paulo and London, involved in nearly $3 billion worth of growth/buyout transactions in the #consumer space. He started his career as a strategic consultant at global management consultancy Kearney. Willian is a Kauffman Fellows, holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a Masters in International Relations from UPenn and Bachelor's degree from ITA, the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (Brazil).
