A picture is worth a thousand words, so here is a visual representation of the steps of our Active Offsetting Programme, with the St. Helena vessel as the protagonist. This initiative, a collaboration between Extreme E, ALLCOT and ALLCOT IO, is dedicated to transporting infrastructure and race vehicles from one country to another in the most sustainable way possible. On the 13th and 14th of July, the Hydro X Prix took place in Scotland and the ship played its part.   Our basic principle is transparency and traceability. Every transaction involving the retirement of carbon credits will be recorded on the blockchain ledger. This immutable record will ensure a transparent and traceable history of St. Helena's carbon offset journey.   #ExtremeE #ActiveOffsettingProgramme #StHelena

“Extreme E encouraged me to believe again” In an interview with SportBusiness, NEOM McLaren's Cristina Gutierrez spoke on the importance of equality in sport and onscreen and how Extreme E has had a positive impact on this and her own career. “I have noticed in my sport that many people are happy to see more women competing in Extreme E because it is one of the only championships that does not have different categories split by gender; we are all equal and we have shown that we can perform at the same level, and that is why it is such a beautiful and different sport at the same time,” she says. “However, we must not relax, we must not stop working. There is a long way to go, but I see a very promising future for the current generations and those to come.” Extreme E is committed to equality and we will continue to work towards it in all aspects. It was great to have Driven By Us CEO James Dornor and Non-Executive Director George Imafidon MBE join us in Scotland for the Hydro X Prix weekend. George, having been part of x44 from Season 1, was great to have back in the paddock, especially joining James on behalf of Driven By Us, speaking on one of our Tipping Point Panels about Diversity and Inclusion. The topic of the panel was; "All hands in motorsport: heralding a new generation of talent," where we discussed the challenges and barriers facing those wanting to enter motorsport, our Racing for All programme and DBU's involvement and how we can all continue to champion equality and accessibility. We look forward to continuing to work together to keep providing opportunities to young people in motorsport and ensuring we create an inclusive environment.

Extreme E continues impactful legacy programme at Hydro X Prix The championship has been working with the Nith District Salmon Fishery Board, a non-profit organisation based in Scotland dedicated to conserving and enhancing the aquatic environment of the River Nith and its tributaries, since the championship’s debut event in Scotland last year. Extreme E and the Nith District Salmon Fishery Board have partnered to support a multi-stage environmental initiative focused on mitigating climate change effects upon Atlantic salmon, highlighting issues caused by rising water temperatures and change in rainfall patterns. This year’s activities centred on the preservation and regeneration of the land surrounding the Nith River. Led by Jim Henderson from the Board, with support from Extreme E Science Committee members Professor Lucy Woodall and Professor Richard Washington, the drivers and teams took part in ‘Green Engineering’ activities, such as electrofishing, aquatic kick sampling and willow spiling. We also held a Tipping Point Panel focused on the legacy project and showcasing the work done and the need for programmes like this. Read more here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gPBW8t_F
