As the summer festival season continues, our #Budapest team is preparing for Hungary’s largest music event of the year. The Sziget festival is expected to bring over 100 nationalities to the Island of Freedom on the Danube River from August 7-12. At Budapest’s Ferenc Liszt International Airport (LHBP/BUD), our on-the-ground team led by Country Manager, Peter Pazurek is ready to provide our customers with a full range of #flightsupport services (https://lnkd.in/dqTEBeYs). The team will be there to ensure your arrival and departure to and from Budapest are as worry-free as the festival itself. Please keep in mind that the flights will be affected by the parking restrictions in front of the GAT implemented due to the Hungarian EU Presidency that started in July. As there are also strict security measures in place and delays are possible, we recommend making all necessary arrangements at your earliest convenience. Our customers are advised to submit all fuel orders one day in advance. We would also like to ask our customers to inform us ahead of their trip about the amount of baggage or music equipment the passengers will be flying with so we can ensure smooth service upon arrival and departure. In the third week of July, #Budapest will host one of its biggest annual sporting events, the Hungarian Grand Prix. As is the case every year, our on-the-ground team at Budapest Airport (LHBP/BUD) is ready to support your flights arriving for this enormous occasion taking place on July 19-21 at the Hungaroring circuit. This year, the situation at the airport will be affected by procedures and security measures implemented due to the Hungarian EU Presidency happening at the same time. Please be prepared for possible delays and make all the necessary arrangements and orders well in advance. We recommend ordering fuel one day ahead of your scheduled departure. It is also advised to book hotel accommodations as soon as your flight schedule is confirmed. The parking situation at the airport will be influenced by the fact that the parking area in front of the General Aviation Terminal will be reserved for the Presidency-related diplomatic flights. All VIP passengers and crew will be able to utilize the 24/7 customs and immigration service available in the GAT. If repositioning your aircraft is required, Debrecen Airport (LHDC/DEB) and Heviz-Balaton (LHSM/SOB) can serve as good alternates. They are both about 200 km away from Budapest and Euro Jet has dedicated staff at each airport.
