Equistone is proud to receive an Excellence in ESG Award (GPs above £1bn AUM) at last week's BVCA Summit, reflecting the milestones we achieved across 2023 as part of our wider responsible investment journey. ESG Manager, Jessica Clavette (pictured) collected the award. Between 2022 and 2023, Equistone’s ESG team oversaw an average score improvement of 35% in ESG compliance and 20% for ESG strategy maturity across the portfolio. The team also supported the firm in submitting targets for validation to the Science Based Targets initiative and advised a number of companies on developing decarbonization roadmaps – bringing the total % of companies with decarbonization targets in place from 42 to over 60%. These achievements were underpinned by our yearly ESG data debrief sessions with management teams, helping to build buy-in into our yearly ESG programme and the use of ESG roadmaps for most portfolio companies.    Further details here: https://lnkd.in/egiHCE5G #ESG #privateequity
