Qantas has launched its third nonstop European route from Perth Airport, and its first flights to Paris in two decades. 🌍✈️ Here are some of the details: How often will the Perth-Paris flights operate? Initially four times weekly, reducing to three times weekly from mid-August. How does this new route compare to previous services to Paris? This is Qantas' first direct flight to Paris since 2004, previously a one-stop route via Singapore. What makes the Boeing 787 Dreamliner significant for this route? It cuts around three hours off the fastest flight times between Perth and Paris and adds 75,000 seats between Australia and Europe each year. What record does this flight set? At 14,264km and 17 hours 20 minutes, it's the longest nonstop flight to France from anywhere in the world. How will the new airport agreement impact Qantas and Jetstar Airways services? A 12-year agreement with Perth Airport includes a significant investment in new terminal facilities and a new parallel runway, with plans to add 4.4 million seats to and from Perth annually by 2031.
