🎉 Three Years at enable recruitment | B Corp™ – What a Journey! 🎉 It’s hard to believe that three years have flown by since I joined the amazing team at enable. Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together. From the early days to now, the team has only gotten stronger, and our ambitions have grown along with it. We’ve expanded beyond the UK, opening up enable EU | recruitment and enable Technology, taking our unique approach to recruitment to new markets and challenges. But that’s not all - last year, we’ve also introduced eTemp Recruitment to our UK business, a game-changing addition that’s already making waves. A special thanks to Tim Macmillan for being the yin to my yang - I couldn’t do this without you. Your partnership and support have been invaluable on this journey 👊 None of this would have been possible without the dedication, talent, and energy of our fantastic team. Together, we’re not just meeting goals - we’re setting new standards in the industry. Here’s to the next chapter of growth and success! 🚀 Steve Kay, Louis Chambers, Joe Mawson, Reece Morgan, Elodie Jones, Taylor M., Arun H. 🗓️ The Power of a Daily Plan 🗓️ One of the habits that has transformed my productivity and focus is starting each day with a clear plan. Taking a few minutes to map out my priorities and goals for the day helps me stay on track and make the most of my time. A daily plan isn't just a to-do list, it's a roadmap that guides me through the day, keeps me aligned with my larger goals, and helps me manage my time effectively. It also provides a sense of accomplishment as I tick off each task (especially helps if you are in sales job)! For me, this practice has become essential, especially in balancing multiple projects and responsibilities. It's amazing how a little bit of structure can lead to greater creativity and better results. I'd be keen to hear some tips and insights on how you make your day more productive and fulfilling...

Monzo Bank's post about valid reasons to come into the office got me thinking of mine...   – to ask everyone what they ate for dinner – to enjoy the free aircon – to play table tennis – to eat free fruit  – to have free drinks all day (not including the beers unless it's Friday obviously 👀) – to walk in fashionably late with my flat white – to listen to Arun's ridiculous playlists  – to use the printer for non-work related stuff – to argue about ronaldo being better than messi – to argue about dinosaurs not being real (touchy subject) – to get steps in on my Apple Watch    And I can 100% confirm Monzo is right about craving a Pret.   What are your valid reasons to come into the office? 👇🏻

Looking to apply for a new role? Don't want to wait until January? Here's a pros and cons list of applying at any time of year 📅   When it comes to job hunting, January gets all the glory as the best time to apply, but that doesn’t mean it’s the only time.   In fact, January have just as many cons as some other months.      𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 - 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 🎆   Pro: Companies have fresh budgets and are eager to start strong, making these months most important for hiring. Con: You’ll face the toughest competition of the whole year. Every other person applying has the same idea, making it harder to stand out.     𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 - 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 🐣   Pro: With Q1 wrapping up, companies may look to bolster their sales teams to boost Q2 results. Con: Some organisations might be more cautious with hiring if Q1 was slow     𝐌𝐚𝐲 - 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 🌼   Pro: Before the summer slump, companies often rush to fill positions, giving you a good chance to secure a role. Con: Hiring can start to slow down as decision-makers prepare for summer holidays.     𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 - 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 🌤   Pro: With many people on vacation, there’s less competition, and you might find hiring managers with more time to consider your application. Con: The downside is that processes can drag out because key decision-makers might be out of office.     𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 - 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 🍂   Pro: The post-summer period is a strong hiring season, with companies back in full swing and eager to close out the year strong. Con: The rush to hire can mean higher competition, as everyone is back from vacation and the job market heats up.     𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫-𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 🎄   Pro: There’s much less competition, and starting before the new year can position you well to hit the ground running in January. Con: Many companies slow down or freeze hiring, which might push decisions into the new year.     No matter the time of year, there are always opportunities if you know where to look.    My one piece of advice for any candidate 👇🏻   Don’t feel like you have to wait for January! Each month has its own advantages.      ♻ Repost for people in your network who may be looking to start applying   📩 Interested in hearing about positions across the UK? How do you navigate rough waters as a Sales Manager?   Being a sales manager is challenging enough, but in tough times, it becomes even harder BUT important to lead by example.   And (pun coming) it's not just about steering the ship - it's about being in the water with your team ⛵   Here’s some tips to keep your team on course...     𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭   When things get tough, I know it’s easy to let go of routine 🥴 But consistency is what gives your team stability.   Make sure your team is sticking to their daily tasks, consistent follow-ups as well as you supporting them with best practice.   I can promise you, these routines keep things grounded and focused, even when the market is unpredictable.     𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞   Consistency is key, but don't run away from switching things up 🏃🏻♂️   Every junior salesperson will learn that sales is all about adapting to change - and the same goes for how you lead.   Maybe it’s time to tweak your sales process or introduce new tools that make your team more efficient? 💭   Innovation doesn’t mean abandoning what works - it means improving it.     𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦   Stress can make it easy to overlook the small stuff, like maintaining strong relationships with your team.   But honestly, trust is literally the most important thing - something I've learned from managing salespeople for so many years.   When your team trusts you, they’re more likely to lean on you, respect your input, and give their best 💚   (And vice versa - your team is called a team for a reason!!)     💬 If you've got experience navigating a sales team through challenges - what tips do you have? BTW - if I wasn't a recruiter, I would definitely be a sailor.   #SalesLeadership #SalesManagement #InnovationInSales
