Welcome our newest Recruitment Consultant, Sammy-Jo 💚   Having worked closely with Sammy all week, I can already say she's been a breath of fresh air!    From day two, she’s been on the phone with such confidence and ease – honestly making some better calls than me! We’ve already booked her first client meeting AND she's found several fantastic candidates for her first role.   Her natural ability, enthusiasm, and proactive approach are impressive, and it's exciting to see her get stuck in (especially yesterday when she volunteered to build a fence! 👷🏼♀️).    She'll be working a range of positions across Finance, Wealth Management, and Insurance.   Welcome, Sammy, I can't wait to see all you'll accomplish 🎉

Who said recruiters can't do manual labour? 👷♀️ The team had the pleasure of volunteering at St Werburghs City Farm, where we were tasked with building a fence and tearing down a huge rubber chicken (yes, you heard right 🐔). The farm has been a key part of Bristol's local community, strengthening connections between land, animals and people for more than 40 years. So, not only have the picked up some handy skills (and some aching muscles this morning), they've contributed to a farm that truly makes a difference for the city we live in. It has officially been my first week at enable recruitment | B Corp™ and I can already say it feels like home! 🏡 It has been a week to remember from attending a really inspiring event - Catalyse Change CIC with Oliver G. Howson I learned a great deal to do with sustainability and the absolute importance of it in our lives/future. To helping a city farm in building their fences in the community garden. 🪴 I have had an absolute blast!!💥 I cannot thank the team enough for making me feel so welcomed and supported in my first week! I have learnt so much from you all and can’t wait for my future at enable!! Below is a postcard that I picked up from the Catalyse Change CIC event. Yesterday, I swapped my phone and laptop for a pair of work gloves, a wheelbarrow, and, my personal favourite, a sledgehammer. Spent the day volunteering at St Werburghs City Farm. Turns out, tearing apart a 15ft chicken sculpture made of wood and recycled tires is a surprisingly good way to clear your head! Who knew dismantling a giant chicken could be so cathartic? Huge thanks to everyone who made it such an enjoyable day, and to St Werburghs for having us. Already looking forward to the next one! (Hopefully with slightly less sore arms)
