Today, I want to talk about... my running shoes. These old, worn-out shoes might not look like much, but to me, they represent something bigger. Balancing the demands of growing Element16 Media, studying for my degree, maintaining a social life, and everything else that comes with it can be overwhelming at times. But when I lace up these shoes and run until my legs are exhausted, it’s my escape. In 2024, finding a healthy work-life balance is harder than ever, and I’ve felt that pressure more than most lately. But these runs remind me to pause, breathe, and make time for myself amidst the chaos. Whatever your "running shoes" are, make sure you take a moment this week to do something for you—whether it’s running or another passion that helps you recharge. P.S. I’m definitely not a runner, and my split times will vouch for that! But hey, it’s not always about the results.
