Lighting consultants - specialists in hotels, retail and workspaces
About us
Elektra Lighting is an award-winning lighting design consultancy established in March 2000. Currently working across 4 continents, we create stunning lighting solutions for all sectors. Lighting can be about so much more than simply allowing you to see. It can shape and define spaces, draw attention (or distract), create atmosphere, and turn an empty shell into a beautiful space. At Elektra we use lighting to generate emotional connections between people and spaces, creating authentic spaces with lighting solutions that will ensure the success of your project. We are independent of all manufacturers and this allows us to design lighting solutions in the best interest of the project. We use our expertise and long years of experience to ensure the ideas are flawlessly translated into site and all our projects look great from day 1. Careful completion and attention to detail characterise our work. At Elektra we understand that each project is unique, and each deserves an individual lighting design. We use our extensive experience, knowledge and creative flair to make every single project as good as it can be.

Only a couple of weeks since we finished the facade lighting at Hilton's flagship Park Lane hotel, and it is good to see it is already in full swing - here in special set up for Pride weekend in London. Lots of effort went into this, mainly by Tiago Winer and Marta Michalski

-
Final stages of the project sees our team on site. Snagging, inspecting quality and at the end programming the lighting control - scene setting, making sure the space is perfectly lit. And as this project is on Trafalgar Square in the centre of London, its near our offices so an ideal opportunity to train juniors and get some site experience Here, Senior Designer Marta Michalski is with Kate Griffiths and Marharyta Petruniak at the #Curio hotel. #lightingdesign by Elektra Lighting

Well done to Elektra Lighting colleague Tiago Winer, Winner of the Rising Star award !
We're thrilled to announce that the LEDFlex Rising Star winner is Tiago Winer! Tiago began his remarkable journey at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG) in Brazil, where he studied Architecture. After years in the architectural field, he transitioned to lighting design and is now making waves at Elektra Lighting , based in London. Tiago’s winning design blends his studies in Biophilic Design and Human-Centric Lighting, envisioning a radiant pavilion in London that transforms underused spaces into vibrant, illuminated landscapes. This installation not only brightens the short winter days but also aligns with visitors' circadian rhythms, creating a welcoming, nature-inspired oasis. We are excited to welcome Tiago to the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) Enlighten Europe. His passion and talent are bound to inspire! Congratulations, Tiago! We look forward to seeing you at Enlighten Europe. #LEDFlexRisingStar #LightingDesign #EnlightenEurope
