Last week, the young minds at Northleaze Primary School were treated to an interactive and educational session by EESI Remediation, as part of their Science Week activities. The aim was to spark curiosity, inspire future scientists, and emphasize the importance of environmental awareness. Ross Pollock did a great job of explaining what EESI does and how we clean-up pollution. The young learners were really excited to learn about how we use indigenous bacteria to ‘eat toxic waste’ (and that bacteria also ‘eat poo!’ for that matter) and that there are approximately 5 nonillion bacteria living on the earth (nonillion is an actual number, check it out). As a company that prides itself on Science-led outcomes, it was great to have the opportunity to promote knowledge and understanding through education, fostering a love for science, and hopefully inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards. 💚 #eesiremediation #scienceledoutcomes #enviornmentalremediation #bioremediation #education #esg #nextgeneration

It has been really interesting to learn from the experience of my Australian colleagues @Environmental Earth Sciences International (EESI) who have worked on a broad range of PFAS related projects over the past decade. In combination with our UK remediation expertise, we have used this knowledge to develop a ‘blueprint’ for the Remediation of PFAS Contaminated Soil and Groundwater for the UK Market. Our approach, covering some of the lessons we’ve learned as group, offers a pragmatic, modular, approach for addressing PFAS impacts to soil and groundwater in UK. If this is of interest please feel free to contact me - In the meantime, please take a minute to read our latest blog.
